Production Sub-Project Manager for the Vagnhärad Project in Ostlänken

Ostlänken is a 160 km double-track railway between Södertälje and Linköping. In the Vagnhärad project, which runs from the southern parts of Södertälje municipality through the entire Trosa municipality, we are now looking for four production sub-project managers.

The task is to follow up on a phase in the contract including time and cost frameworks as well as compliance with quality, environmental, work environment, and safety requirements. Your responsibility as a production sub-project manager means following up the construction management organization in the phase and/or sub-project and reporting progress.

You will be managed by the production project manager who is already in place and has overall responsibility for production in the Vagnhärad project within Ostlänken.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the client's sub-project manager within production in one or more areas such as rock tunnel/ civil engineering/ earthworks/ road or railway
• steer the implementation of a phase/sub-project in Vagnhärad towards budget, schedule, and content
• lead coordinating construction managers within the assigned area of responsibility
• report to the production project manager regarding the status of the phase
• initiate and ensure that necessary resources are procured, such as materials
• ensure that the construction management organization is properly staffed at each stage.
• monitor that permits, building permits, and similar are applied for and obtained
• participate in design work if necessary
• support technical leaders with cost-saving innovations in assessing their buildability
• be responsible for technical follow-up, inspections, and final reports with as-built documents as well as good coordination within and between phases
• attend internal and external meetings
• follow up on the contractor's procurement of subcontractors

We are looking for you who

• have a university or college education of at least 180 credits (120 ECTS) with a technical focus, or other education and experience that we assess as equivalent
• have worked as a project manager or supervising site manager
• have worked in one of the technical areas of rock tunnel/ civil engineering/ earthworks/ railway or road for at least 8 years
• have current knowledge of contract law in one or more of the areas AB/ABT/ABK and AMA
• have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
• have a driver's license for passenger cars

It is meritorious if you

• have worked in a leading position in production within railway projects
• have worked in production in collaborative contracts
• have worked in production within total contracts
