We are looking for a Site Manager for earthworks for projects related to bus depots for a government authority in traffic.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The Site Manager for earthworks is responsible for planning and coordinating the implementation phase of the project, focusing on earthworks, relocation of utility lines, and conduit installation. The role involves acting as a link between the project manager, design team, and traffic operator, as well as monitoring the progress, quality, and safety of the construction contract.

Responsibilities

Act as a link between the project manager, design team, and traffic operator, and represent the project to external stakeholders.

Assist in the preparation and review of design documents from a production perspective.

Provide expert support in earthworks, utility relocation, and conduit installation.

Monitor and report on the construction contract's time, cost, and quality.

Be responsible for change and additional work (ÄTA), documentation, and forecasts.

Support the contractor with work plans, schedules, and weekly plans, approve and communicate these.

Coordinate interfaces with operations for minimal impact and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and work environment requirements.

Make necessary decisions within mandate and participate in inspections and handovers.

Participate in project-related meetings and report regularly to the project manager.

Act as the project manager's representative on-site and contribute solutions for earthworks and utility work.

Support project management with AMA/MER regulations and measurement coordination.

Requirements (Mandatory)

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Documented experience in production management (e.g., site manager, foreman, construction manager) within client or contractor organizations in the infrastructure and construction industry, with at least 10 years of work experience.

Experience from at least 1 project in a leading position where project planning has been carried out for projects with a budget over 200 million SEK.

Completed training in and documented experience of regulation according to AMA & MER for construction.

Experience with complex concrete castings in the role of foreman or skilled worker in concrete for at least 5 years (e.g., mass wall, retaining wall with tightness against rock excavation).

Management of earthworks with rock excavation in large quantities, ground reinforcement with MCK piles, and installation of sheet piles where the total time amounts to at least 8 years of experience.

Desirable

Good knowledge of construction law ABT06. This experience is gained by actively working with contractual issues and regulations according to ABT06 for at least 12 months, as well as having basic training in ABT06.

Completed training in BAS-U/BAS-P.

At least 4 years of experience in assignments within public operations as a Site Manager.

Experience in participating in earthworks design for public transport projects in at least 1 project.
