We are looking for a Project Manager for the Signal Project for an authority within traffic.

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

The role of the project manager includes responsibility for planning, execution, and closure of several signal-related projects within tramway, in both early and late project phases. The assignment involves leading design and contracts, ensuring signal safety, budget, time, and quality, as well as coordinating internal and external stakeholders until handover and closure.

Responsibilities

Plan and drive projects and assignments according to decisions made, agreements, and applicable project and program manuals.

Ensure deliveries within established scope, schedule, and budget.

Prepare, process, and anchor decision-making materials, including RFIs, options, and successive calculations.

Resource plan, staff, and develop project and assignment organizations.

Plan signal work in early stages before design and contract.

Be responsible for the production of system and construction documents within signal and ensure that applicable signal safety requirements are met.

Prepare procurement documents and be responsible for the procurement of suppliers and contractors.

Lead the execution of contracts, inspections, and ensure that as-built documents are produced.

Be responsible for safety management and ensure that internal processes and the GOP process are followed.

Conduct risk assessments and be responsible for project risk management.

Ensure the handling of workplace, environmental, and sustainability issues.

Represent the organization in financial matters and be responsible for budget, forecasts, and financial follow-up.

Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as municipalities, authorities, transport operators, suppliers, and contractors.

Communicate project status, risks, and deviations to management, project team, and stakeholders.

Continuously document the project's work, including meetings, workshops, communication, and investigations.

Ensure the handover of projects, assignments, and documentation to the receiving administration.

Close projects, compile experiences, and deliver final reports.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

University or civil engineering degree with a focus on construction and civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or urban development, alternatively the Traffic Authority School in Ängelholm's vocational training for Signal Technicians, or at least eight (8) years of work experience in one of the specified educational fields.

Documented experience of at least four (4) years as a project manager for signal projects within rail or tramway.

Documented experience of contract work according to AB04 or ABT06 within infrastructure, railway, or tramway projects.

Documented experience of design within the BES area (track, electricity, signal).

Experience from working with safety management systems within rail or tramway.

Desirable

Project management training such as IPMA, Prince2, PMI, CAPM.

Experience from working with GOP handling.

Certified BAS-P/BAS-U not older than five (5) years.

Experience leading at least one project of at least 100 million SEK in a client organization.
