Life Science Consultant at AFRY

ABOUT THE POSITION

AFRY continues to grow and is in need of more engineers who can become part of long-term and exciting projects within production facilities and quality assurance in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. You will be based at the Södertälje office or the Solna office, where commuting will be involved as assignments are available throughout Mälardalen.

The section you will belong to currently consists of both junior and senior colleagues, all sharing a common interest in technology and Life Science.

As an employee on assignment at AFRY, you will work as a consultant for their clients, primarily companies in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a consulting assignment. You will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at AFRY. The assignment will be full-time and will be ongoing. There are good opportunities for extension of the assignment and eventually employment at AFRY, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has completed an engineering degree with a focus on chemical engineering, biochemistry, and/or medical technology, or another natural science education
  • Has at least 6 months of experience in a role as a validation engineer in the pharmaceutical industry where you have worked with GMP, validation of equipment, qualification, and/or handling of deviations and deviation investigations
  • Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as you will handle communication and documentation internally and externally
