Energy Engineer at Coor

In your role as an energy engineer with us at Coor, you will create economically viable, energy-efficient, and environmentally interesting solutions for our clients. You will provide our clients with expertise in energy and sustainability-related matters.

About the Role

Your role as an energy engineer means that you have a broad competence in both energy systems and the energy market, as the work meets a variety of different customer needs and requests. You will primarily be responsible for developing energy efficiency measures for several clients in the industrial, property, and public sectors, among others. You will work on both smaller and larger energy projects, with some project management responsibilities.

In this role, you will conduct energy analyses and energy balance calculations, as well as propose energy efficiency measures in the client's properties. You will work broadly across the entire energy field and use your creativity to find the best technical and economic solutions for each client.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive energy work at various facilities
• Conduct investigations related to the technical systems of the facilities
• Analyze the set parameters and functions of the technical systems
• Follow up and analyze energy usage
• Propose and act as an expert support in implementing energy-saving measures and updates of the technical systems
• Maintain daily contact with clients and colleagues
• Contribute expertise during the sales of new assignments
• Participate in various energy-related networks and forums
• Be part of developing Coor's energy delivery through streamlined processes and technology

We believe in a flexible work environment where you have a lot of freedom under responsibility, and you manage your time between the office and clients with remote work. You will be based at Coor's office in Solna. Travel occurs as planned, around 2 days/month. A driver's license is required.

Is This You?

To be successful in this role, you need to have relevant post-secondary education (master's degree or engineering degree in the energy field) and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. If you have project management experience, this is considered highly meritorious and can reduce the requirement for years of work experience. We expect you to have good knowledge of building climate technical systems and a broad understanding of energy, plumbing, and HVAC. Additionally, you have a strong business interest and understanding of both the consulting industry and project economics. Being a certified energy auditor is highly meritorious. It is important that you have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English.
