Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, and we have about 750 employees who work every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholm residents. We heat over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300 km long district heating network is the hub for the societal benefits we create. We plan to build a carbon capture facility at our bioenergy power plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period.

As a project buyer in distribution with us, you will have the opportunity to drive procurements in exciting and challenging investment projects primarily within district heating and cooling distribution. The role combines business acumen and teamwork with long-term sustainability and societal benefit. We particularly welcome candidates with previous experience in strategic/tactical purchasing within civil engineering and construction, and thus have a good understanding and structure for the various phases of the purchasing process and the challenges and opportunities it entails. The project purchasing team currently consists of a group of colleagues with unique competencies, experiences, and qualities that complement each other. The role is a permanent position based at our office in Hjorthagen, Stockholm.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent relevant education for the role, or relevant work experience.
• Experience in purchasing and procurement.
• Experience in purchasing related to contracts.
• Driver's license (B).
• Swedish citizenship.
• Good knowledge of distribution and economics.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of standards and guidelines within construction and civil engineering, such as AB04, ABT06, AMA, and MER.
• Good knowledge of contract law.
• Experience using various systems and software.
