Therefore, an efficient, professional, and follow-up-driven procurement and contracting process is crucial for us to achieve our goals. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a contract controller, you will work closely with our operations, procurement officers, suppliers, and our procurement analyst. Your focus will be on operational contract follow-up to ensure that what we procure is indeed what we receive, at the right price and with the right quality.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Contract and Delivery Follow-Up
  • Conduct structured follow-ups of signed contracts across various contract areas.
  • Ensure that suppliers deliver according to agreed terms, quality, and timelines.
  • Monitor contract compliance and support operations in using applicable contracts correctly.
  • Document deviations and follow up to ensure they are addressed.
• Financial Follow-Up
  • Monitor agreed prices and identify price deviations or volume changes.
  • Prepare materials for the procurement analyst that build on more comprehensive analyses.
• Operational Support and Advice
  • Support operations in understanding their contracts and how to apply them.
  • Participate in follow-up meetings with suppliers.
  • Continuously support procurement officers by providing insights from conducted follow-ups.
  • Contribute to our internal forums, work meetings, and contract dialogue forums.
• Development of Work Methods
  • Be involved in the development of methods and routines for contract follow-up.
  • Contribute to strengthening our department's working methods and culture regarding follow-up and business acumen.

The position is temporary for two years, with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has post-secondary education in economics, purchasing/logistics, public administration, or other education deemed relevant by the employer.
• Has experience in follow-up, purchasing work, controller work, or other experience deemed relevant by the employer.
• Has a good understanding of how contracts work and how they should be followed up.
• Is structured, analytical, and meticulous, and enjoys working with both people and numbers.
• Has good communication skills and can explain complex issues clearly.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience in public procurement and/or LOU.
• Have worked with deviation management and supplier dialogue.
• Have worked with system support in purchasing, spend analysis, and/or e-commerce.
