Your Main Responsibilities.

In your role as a bid manager, you will be responsible for our bids to our public customers within municipalities, regions, and the state. This means you will:

  • Analyze bids, both before submission and after the bid response
  • Continuously analyze complex information to make business decisions
  • Prepare documentation and materials needed to compile a bid to be submitted

You will report to the Business Manager for Public Sales in Halmstad. Our customers are within municipalities, regions, and the state, generating approximately 4.6 billion kronor annually. You will have colleagues in three locations in Sweden where collaboration is important to meet future demands. The organizational structure of Public Sales allows you to have a significant impact on working methods. Part of the collaboration takes place in project form. In this role, you are part of the team in Halmstad, but as we also have bid managers in several locations, we see that you can either be based in Norrköping or Umeå.

Important for the Job to Suit You.

To manage the tasks, you are used to working independently and are interested in creating profitable business. You are meticulous, responsible, and have an eye for detail. A methodical approach and good analytical skills are prerequisites for succeeding as a bid manager. At the same time, you should be flexible and enjoy problem-solving. The majority of your time will be spent working in our various business systems, Excel, and BI tools. To succeed in the role, we also believe you have:

  • Relevant theoretical education, at least a high school diploma preferably with a focus on economics or food. Relevant post-secondary education is an advantage
  • Experience in analyzing information
  • Good knowledge and great interest in Excel
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Knowledge of tender documents is an advantage
  • Experience in procurement or bid work is an advantage
