Description
We are looking for a Business Controller with a focus on higher education and hospitals.
As a controller, you are a team player in our finance team while also working independently and closely with operations. An important part of the role is to collaboratively drive the development of the team and the operations.
Digitalization and AI of various kinds are high on the agenda for the entire Sophiahemmet. In the finance department, we have made some progress, and you will be an important part of our ongoing development work.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring and analysis in collaboration with our operational areas
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Project monitoring together with the university's researchers
- Participating in monthly and annual financial statements
- Contributing to the development of efficient financial routines
- Involved in future projects for continued digitalization and automation
- Working proactively to contribute to the organization's efficiency and development
Qualifications
- We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in finance
- At least three years of experience as a controller
- Good accounting knowledge
- Experience in project accounting
- Strong skills in Excel
- Good IT maturity and a strong interest in it
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish
If you have experience with universities/higher education, foundations, non-profit organizations, and project financing through government funding, it is a merit.
Conditions
In March, we will move together with Sophiahemmet's other staff functions into newly renovated premises. In your operational role, you are expected to work on-site.
