About the workplace
The cognitive support team is part of the development unit for elderly care and consists of driven and committed employees. The cognitive support team consists of nurses and nursing assistants with special competence and interest in cognitive diseases/dementia. Important partners include providers of health and medical care, ordinary housing, and special housing as well as authorities, quality departments, and the development unit for functional support.

Job responsibilities
In the role of quality leader in the cognitive support team, you are a resource for the entire organization. You work consultatively with a focus on quality, development, and collaboration and will, among other things, be a guide for the person with cognitive disease and their relatives. You will also support the operations through advice, guidance, and training on issues related to cognitive diseases and also support the units in their work with the quality registers BPSD and SveDem, as well as advocate for evidence-based care and support for cognitive diseases/dementia.
In the assignment, you need to collaborate internally and externally for a smooth care chain for people with cognitive diseases and be a knowledge bearer in the organization, keeping yourself updated on new research to maintain quality in care and support and actively work with the development of the operations through environmental monitoring and improvement proposals. The role is close to operations, and the assignment includes supporting the administration's employees in compliance with applicable legislation, guidelines, and routines.
You have an important role in supporting the organization in systematic quality work. You participate in relevant process teams based on your area of expertise and have close cooperation with other quality-supporting roles, business developers, as well as MAS/MAR and SAS.
Qualifications
You are a licensed nurse, and it is advantageous if you are a Silvia nurse or have other specialist training in dementia, and you have a B driver's license as the position involves working with units throughout the city. We would like you to be a certified BPSD educator and star-rated instructor and have experience working in both the BPSD register and SveDem's quality register.
You need to have experience working with development and quality, renewal, and change management within care and support. Furthermore, you need to have very good knowledge of the Health and Medical Services Act and knowledge of other legal frameworks that regulate our area of activity, such as the Social Services Act and the Act on Special Support (LSS).
You are comfortable leading training, including in workshop format. You have experience and good knowledge of documentation, preferably in Lifecare. It is positive if you have previously worked in a process-oriented organization.
