Arena Personal is now looking for a Controller for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in the energy and production sector. The assignment is suitable for you who have a strong interest in systems, analysis, and technology, and who thrives in a business-oriented role where finance meets production.

About the assignment As a controller, you will work closely with production and be responsible for monitoring and analyzing energy deliveries. An important part of the assignment is to independently further develop and streamline the monitoring in BI tools, where Power BI is central. You need to have a genuine interest in systems and be able to work independently with analysis, troubleshooting, and further development of existing reports and solutions. The assignment starts in the last week of February.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with monitoring and analysis of production

• Be responsible for monitoring and analysis of energy deliveries

• Further develop, adapt, and streamline monitoring in BI tools

• Produce analyses and decision-making materials and support the business in improvement work

Qualifications

• Very good system skills and a strong interest in BI tools

• Experience with Power BI or equivalent BI tools (if you have strong analytical skills and can quickly familiarize yourself with new systems, that may also be relevant)

• Good analytical ability and experience working with large data sets

• Ability to independently identify problems, find sources of error, and further develop solutions

• Interest in production, technology, and business-related issues

• Interest in or experience with electricity and energy issues

Personal qualities

• Ability to translate numbers into insights that the business can benefit from

• Good collaboration and communication skills

• Curious, solution-oriented, and with an interest in technology and development

Experience

• A couple of years of experience in a relevant field

• Experience with systems and BI tools is more important than a solid controller background.
