I am a 19-year-old guy who wants to be where things are happening, and I am now looking for you who want to work every other weekend Friday & Saturday night awake time.

My interests include playing video games, music, bowling, woodworking, and watching cool machines. You need to assist me when I want to help out when the family is outside in the garden doing various gardening tasks, so it is a big plus if you who are applying for the job like that too. I enjoy being outside in all kinds of weather.

I live with my family and our dog in a villa in Linköping.

As a personal assistant at my home, you will help with dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, transfers, and you will be my extended arm, helping where my disability sets limits. Your role will also include planning and structuring my daily life together with me to help me become as independent as possible. You will also need to manage medications, and it is important to have constant attention to my general condition as I also have diabetes.

Travel may occur as my family also has a house in Gotland, which I enjoy being in.

I am looking for you who:

• Can tolerate pets, as we have a dog in the family
• Have good physical fitness, as transfers are part of the job duties
• Are passionate about your work and want to make a difference for another person
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have experience working as a personal assistant, preferably with youth!
• See this work as a long-term commitment
• Have a strong commitment to your work
• Can accompany on trips, e.g., to Gotland
• It’s an extra plus if you have experience with diabetes; if not, we will train you.

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships and take on significant responsibility. It is important for our client’s parents to feel secure when you are taking care of their youth. Therefore, it is advantageous if you have experience working with children, youth, or in healthcare. We also see it as a merit if you have experience with low-arousal approaches.

Working hours/Duration: Every other Friday 21:30-08:00 and every other Saturday 20:00-08:00 active time.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately with introduction.

Employment conditions: As long as the assistance assignment lasts, 28% position.
