Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 47s living in Linköping
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has experience with low-arousal approaches
• has experience with NPF (Neuropsychiatric Disorders)
• is comfortable with dogs

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• share the client's interests which include NärCon, LGBTQIA+ issues, dogs, creativity, music, and a strong interest in spirituality.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 77%. The job involves work during daytime and evening hours as well as weekends between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM (mixed hours).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
