Your Task

As part of a group of summer workers, you will support our regular operations staff with various tasks that are important for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. The tasks include:

• Operation and rounds of cooling systems, district heating, and biogas.
• Inspection and maintenance – ensure that facilities are functioning as they should, that the right amount of chemicals is in place, and assist with replacements as needed.
• Support for technicians – provide assistance with maintenance work and repairs as needed.
• Fire safety rounds and other safety-related inspections.

You will work in a dynamic environment with varied tasks that provide you with practical experience and valuable insight into the operations.

Your Team

In the Facility Operations unit of our facilities department, we focus on ensuring optimal operation of our facilities for electricity and heat production. We play a key role in Göteborg Energi's important mission - to provide Gothenburg residents with the energy they need, around the clock, year-round. The ongoing transition to more sustainable energy solutions is both exciting and developing for us who work with energy supply.

Your Competence

For this position, we are looking for someone studying a technical post-secondary education in operations, chemistry, energy, process technology, or similar. You have an understanding of technical processes and a desire to learn more about operations and maintenance in a dynamic environment.

As a person, you are structured and quality-conscious, with a natural ability to work carefully and safely. You are proactive and take responsibility for your tasks while enjoying collaborating and contributing to the team's success.

To be able to move between our various facilities, you need to have a B driver's license.
