What does a day at work look like?

• Perform work on components for diesel engines and turbochargers
• Create detailed reports after an initial inspection of components upon arrival at the workshop
• Plan daily work in the workshop in collaboration with service coordinators and the service manager
• Provide internal and external technical support
• Ensure order and cleanliness in our workshop
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with 5S
• Ensure that all incoming goods to PrimeServ are registered and stored correctly.
• Pack and ship outgoing shipments
• The work is primarily scheduled during daytime hours from Monday to Friday, but some overtime/weekend work may occur as needed.

What do you need to know?

• We believe you have solid experience in service work with diesel engines or turbochargers. Perhaps you have gained your experience through several years at sea or working in a mechanical workshop.
• You have experience coordinating and planning workshop operations
• To write technical reports, you need to be meticulous and have an eye for detail
• Our corporate language is English, so you need to communicate both verbally and in writing in English
• We offer premium service to our customers. Therefore, you are very service-oriented and enjoy working with many different people
• If you have experience in leadership, it is highly meritorious
• You need to be able to speak and write Swedish fluently
• A B driver's license is required

Our premises are located at Oljevägen 105 in Arendal where we have our office, workshop, and FAT testing unit.

Welcome to our department and our team

As Workshop Manager for the PrimeServ Marine department, you will be stationed in Arendal in Gothenburg where our other operations are also located. In our immediate team, we are a total of 11 people, 9 traveling service technicians, and 2 stationed in the workshop. We have a close collaboration with our Finnish colleagues who are part of our organization. In this position, you will report to our Technical Service Manager. In our group, we focus on sharing knowledge and information to continuously develop our team. Our goal is to provide premium service to our customers while creating a motivating and enjoyable workplace for our colleagues.
