Operations Technician at the Fortifications Agency

The Fortifications Agency owns, develops, and manages robust defense properties for peace, crisis, and war. With our unique expertise in defense properties, we create secure environments for a robust total defense.

Your daily life as an operations technician

The operations in the southwestern region are carried out in Västra Götaland, Skåne, and Halland counties. This position is located in the Gothenburg operations district, which is responsible for operations within Greater Gothenburg, Uddevalla, and the entire archipelago within these areas. The operations district's mission consists of operating our property portfolio and rented objects.

You will independently work with the operation and maintenance of our property portfolio. This means participating in supervision and care as well as preventive maintenance, primarily of technical installations in buildings and associated infrastructure. The position of operations technician is broad, and you will come into contact with all existing property systems.

The place of employment is Skredsvik, where you will work most of the time. Travel within the district may occur. On-call duty is included in the assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in electrical engineering, HVAC, or technology. It is advantageous if you have training as an operations technician with a focus on property management. You have previous work experience in one or more areas related to property operations, such as HVAC, cooling, or control systems. A valid driver's license (B) is required. Your personal qualities are important to us. As a person, you are structured, take initiative, and are solution-oriented. You have the ability to think outside the box and find it easy to create new relationships.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be assigned to a military position. The place of employment is Skredsvik. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security classification. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
