JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Signal Technician at Infranord Construction, you will encounter an exciting, varied, fun, and social job. With us, you will spend a large part of the day outdoors with your work team and in collaboration with other colleagues. Your work primarily involves new constructions as well as operation and maintenance of signaling systems in our railway environment. Part of the job involves documenting controls and error reports.

Who are you?

To thrive in the role of signal technician with us, we see that you appreciate varied tasks and have a problem-solving approach. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and contribute to good teamwork. You will be part of a work team with about 3 signal technicians. We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, is driven, and takes initiative in daily work.

You have the opportunity to be flexible as weekend and night work may occur in the position. On-call duty and travel to other locations may also be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved high school education with a focus on Electrical or Signal Technology
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• Driver's license B (manual)
• Meets medical requirements for approval within security service

It is an advantage if you have:

• Professional experience in signal technology work within railways
• Approved basic signal education or ongoing education, such as BSG1, BSG2, and Signal Technical Principles and Basics (BSGS)
• Electrical Safety Leader; track work, work equipment, and track vehicles, low and low voltage
• Safety and Security Leader (SOS leader)
• Supervisor (TSM) for A-, L-, E-protection and road guard
• SISÄ authorization
• Familiarity with various relay or computer-based signal control systems (e.g., models 59, 65, 85, 95, etc.)
• ATC, equipment, and system functions (BSATC), preferably experience from ERTMS
