Do you want a job with great freedom under responsibility where you become the company's face to the outside world? We are now looking for a technically skilled industrial technician for Assa Abloy who works with service, maintenance, and repair.

The work involves service, maintenance, and repairs with a strong focus on troubleshooting in both electrical and mechanical areas. The assignments require a high technical level and a practical approach where you use tools daily and work with everything from electrical replacements to mechanical adjustments.

You will work from home and independently manage your work within the Borås district and surrounding areas (Kinna/Skene and Herrljunga). The role involves working alone and offers great freedom under responsibility, where planning, structure, and self-drive are crucial. The work approach is characterized by taking full ownership of your assignments with a business-minded thinking and a focus on quality in every effort.

Customer contact is a natural and important part of everyday life, where you represent the company and build long-term relationships. The work takes place in varying environments and requires flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to new situations.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. The position involves travel within the district.

StudentConsulting is responsible for the recruitment process, and the final candidate will be directly employed by ASSA ABLOY. A probationary period applies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have several years of experience in electrical and mechanical work, preferably as a car mechanic or service technician
• You are accustomed to working practically with troubleshooting, repairs, and electrical replacements
• You have good experience in using various tools and working hands-on
• You thrive in solitary work and take full responsibility for your assignments
• You have a business-driven mindset and understand the importance of customer relationships
• You are curious, solution-oriented, and have a strong desire to learn

Qualifications:

• At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Driver's license (B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Electrical training from high school is an advantage
• Experience from the automotive industry or similar technical professions is highly meritorious
