We are looking for an experienced truck mechanic for daytime work at our client's workshop. The role includes service, maintenance, and repair of trucks and heavy superstructures, as well as close collaboration with the workshop team to ensure high quality, operational reliability, and satisfied customers.

• Perform service, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electronic systems on trucks and superstructures according to work orders and manufacturer instructions.

• Assemble and adapt superstructures, hydraulics, pneumatics, and accessories; read and follow drawings and assembly instructions.

• Conduct test drives and function tests and verify the functionality and safety of measures before delivery.

• Carry out welding and sheet metal work as needed and collaborate with other professional groups to solve complex tasks.

• Document completed work, report deviations, and follow the company's routines for quality, environment, and safety.

• Contribute to improvement work to streamline processes, increase quality, and reduce waste and rework.

• Maintain and take care of tools, measuring instruments, and workplaces, and contribute to a safe and orderly work environment.

• Several years of documented experience as a truck mechanic or working with heavy vehicles and superstructures.

• Good knowledge of vehicle mechanics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems; experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics.

• Experience in assembling and adapting superstructures and the ability to read drawings and work orders.

• Welding skills and practical experience in sheet metal work are advantageous.

• Relevant certification or qualifications (e.g., forklift license, overhead crane license) are advantageous.

• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, for internal collaboration and documentation.

You are meticulous, solution-oriented, service-minded, and enjoy practical work. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for quality and safety, and collaborate well in a team. Furthermore, you are flexible and can prioritize tasks to meet delivery times.
