About the Company

Bon Orbit is a company with a strong ownership base consisting of Svensk Däckåtervinning AB and Norsk Dekktretur A/S, with more than 30 years of combined experience in the industry.

We produce high-performance recycled raw materials from used tires, marketed to customers worldwide. Logistics and production flows are therefore crucial to our success.

We are currently in an expansion phase, establishing the largest facility of its kind in Europe. This investment is made to offer recycled raw materials of even higher quality and purity. In a few years, our revenue will exceed 300 MSEK. With the new facility, we are setting a new standard in the market and simultaneously strengthening our global position.

Bon Orbit has a collective agreement through IKEM – Innovations and Chemical Industries in Sweden.

About the Role

As a mechanic, you will work with maintenance, service, and repair of our machines and production equipment. You are an important part of the production team and contribute to ensuring that the facility operates safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

You will report to the Facility Manager and work closely with both operators and shift leaders.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of machines and equipment
• Service and inspections according to maintenance schedule
• Process control and troubleshooting
• Support production during technical issues
• Train and assist operators in machine care
• Document machine status, function, and efficiency
• Ensure that machines, equipment, and tools are in good condition
• Responsible for operating certain production lines as needed

We are looking for someone who

• Has technical competence in mechanics and industrial maintenance
• Is solution-oriented and can make decisions in production
• Has a good understanding of the entire production process
• Works in a structured and quality-conscious manner
• Takes responsibility for operation, cleaning, and maintenance
• Is flexible and wants to develop together with the business
• Is willing to participate in training and development

Other

• The machine supplier's manual must be followed during installation and operation
• The work requires precision and careful handling of tools and materials
• Identified faults or deviations must be reported immediately according to processes
• Responsible for ensuring that routines and instructions are followed
• Work at other locations may occur
