With over 100 years of experience in the forklift and construction industry, they provide all types of customers with suitable solutions. VS Truck has workshops in several locations across Sweden and technicians spread from Stockholm down to Skåne.

About the position

In the role of Service Technician, you will work with service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of construction machinery and forklifts at VS Truck's customers. You will have your own customer base and be in direct contact with customers to provide the personal service that VS Truck has built its business on. You will plan your service work, order spare parts, and handle service administration. You will have a fully equipped service vehicle, and the position is home-based with your customer base located in and around Gothenburg. Your Service Leader is located in Borås, where the workshop for the Västra Götaland region is also situated. The work is independent, but for larger repair jobs, you will work together with a colleague.  

More specifically, the tasks include:

- Service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of construction machinery and forklifts

- Service and repair planning

- Technical support and advice to customers

- Spare parts management   

About you

To be considered for this position, you have:

- Experience in mechanical service, installation, and troubleshooting

- Knowledge of troubleshooting vehicle electronics and reading wiring diagrams

- Experience with customer contact in some form

- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form 

- A valid driver's license (B)

As a person, you are self-driven, trustworthy, and it is crucial that you are problem-solving and can handle different areas of focus simultaneously. You also have a strong quality mindset and work meticulously with both your tasks and subsequent documentation. The position of Service Technician also involves several points of contact both internally and externally. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in communicative roles, have a service-oriented mindset, and find it inspiring to meet customers.

Start: By agreement 

Location: Gothenburg region, the position is home-based

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7–16
