Maintenance Mechanic at Scan Sweden AB

We are now looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for the production facility in Skara. As a maintenance mechanic with us, you will work closely with daily production and ensure that machines and equipment operate safely and reliably.

Your Responsibilities

You will work both with ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting when issues arise, while continuously seeking new ways to develop and improve our facility. You will perform preventive service, troubleshooting, and repairs, and contribute your technical expertise to improvement efforts that enhance operational reliability and support safe food production. In your work, you will collaborate closely with operators and other functions to keep production stable, efficient, and in line with our quality standards. The role also involves sharing your knowledge and supporting colleagues to enhance the team's competence.

What You Need to Succeed and Thrive

To thrive in this role, you should have good technical knowledge and interest. You are meticulous, have strong problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a team. Furthermore, you are service-oriented and have good communication with customers, suppliers, and other colleagues.

We also see that you are genuinely interested in being out in the operational business and engaged in daily work.

You Have:

• Several years of experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial machines.
• Practical experience working with tools and machinery.
• Good competence in technical aids such as computers, Excel, etc.
• A problem-solving and proactive attitude with the ability to make quick and informed decisions.
• A valid driver's license (B).
• Ability to work shifts (day and evening shifts).

It is advantageous if you have experience in welding, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting. It is also advantageous if you have previously worked with maintenance systems and inventory management.
