Do you want to help educate the robot technicians of the future? Kunskapsgruppen Yrkeshögskola is looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Robotics Technician/Automation Engineer who wants to teach in an exciting and forward-looking program.

About the program

The Robotics Technician program is a two-year YH program that provides students with a deep understanding of industrial automation and robotics. The focus is on programming, operation, and maintenance of industrial robots and cobots, with courses in areas such as robot programming, control systems, and digitalization. The program is closely linked to the industry, meaning we work in line with technological developments and the needs of the industry. The education is conducted remotely with physical meetings in Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Malmö.

About the role

As a teacher with us, you will play a crucial role in shaping a cutting-edge education. We do not just want to meet the needs of the industry – we want to be one step ahead. You will have the opportunity to take your own initiatives to ensure that our students receive the best possible education, both theoretically and practically.

You will work alongside existing teachers to plan and conduct lessons where you share your expertise and create dynamic and inspiring teaching moments. Through close collaboration with industry actors, you will ensure that the education is always current and relevant. Additionally, you will play an important role in the overall educational planning, where your engagement and ideas help shape the program.

You will be part of a team of experienced educational leaders, teachers, and business developers who support you in your daily work.

In addition to teaching, the role includes certain administrative tasks such as student registration and grading.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct teaching in robotics and automation
• Collaborate with industry companies for study visits and workshops
• Guide and support students in their learning process
• Ensure that the education maintains high quality and is industry-relevant
• Contribute to the development of the program
• Register students, manage grading, and perform other administrative tasks

We are looking for someone who:

• Wants to contribute to creating a cutting-edge robotics education
• Has solid experience in robotics, automation, or industrial production
• Enjoys teaching and has good pedagogical skills
• Has strong networking and collaboration skills
• Is highly computer literate, including Office365
• Is organized and enjoys combining teaching with administrative tasks
• Has good communication skills and masters Swedish very well in both spoken and written forms

Meritorious:

• Experience in teaching at YH, corporate training, or similar educational formats
