Welcome to our new workshop in Hisingen, between Säve airport and Stora Holm! We are now opening the doors to our new facility built to meet the needs of the future. This means entirely new and fresh premises for workshop, storage, and staff areas. Here we offer a modern workplace focused on sustainability and the environment. The workshop provides services to external customers while also being a resource for Renova internally. Job Responsibilities

As a service mechanic, you will perform service and minor repair work on trucks, construction machinery, special vehicles, and maintenance machines.

Your days will also involve work in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics on vehicles and superstructures.

The position of service mechanic is for you who have a bit less experience in the workshop industry. You will have experienced mechanics to support you in your work, and you will receive continuous training to become more and more independent. For those who want to learn more and develop, there are good opportunities to advance with us and eventually take on the role of vehicle mechanic for heavy vehicles.

The working hours refer to day shifts or evening shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a vehicle engineering education in heavy vehicles or equivalent experience or knowledge. You also need to have basic computer skills.

It is also a bonus if you have:

• some years of experience working with heavy vehicles and/or construction machinery
• C driver's license
• some knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, welding, and electronics

As a person, you are service-oriented and solution-focused. You value quality highly and are creative in how you approach solutions to various problems. You take personal responsibility and initiative when needed. It is also important that you value providing good service to customers, both internal and external, and that you work towards good collaboration and communication with your closest colleagues. We also appreciate that you are interested in development and see opportunities for changes and improvements in your work.
