At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of the major societal issues of our time – migration. We are a total of about 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job!

We are looking for service staff for the service unit West, located in Gothenburg.

We offer an environment characterized by meeting people and varied tasks. The service unit is a unit where the ability to handle "quick tasks" is often put to the test, and proactive work is important.

What does a service staff member do at the service unit?

As a service staff member at the service unit, you will work with office services as well as property and operational-related services. This may include supervision of premises, certain property-related measures, reporting faults, inventory of consumables, mail handling, IT support, and some local adjustments.

You will have contact with external suppliers of goods and services as well as internal contacts with the unit's orderers. You will improve routines for supervision, control, and management of premises and technology from a security perspective. Furthermore, you will provide practical service and perform maintenance in the premises. You will also be responsible for your own case management in our case management system. Travel outside the stationing location may occur.

You who are applying have:

  • High school education with a technical focus (e.g., construction/installation), or other education that the employer deems suitable for the role
  • Knowledge of premises security
  • Experience in work requiring good service
  • Good communication skills and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Good computer skills
  • Driver's license B

It is meritorious if you have

  • Experience in office service/caretaking
  • Experience in user support regarding IT equipment and/or conference equipment

Information

Employment form: Personal temporary position for up to one year
Working hours: Office working hours, some work outside office hours may occur in connection with travel to other locations or in connection with assignments in the local area
Salary: We apply individual salary setting
Placement: Gothenburg
