Your Task

For the summer of 2026, we are looking for someone who wants to work with the operation of Göteborg Energi's production facilities for district heating and cooling.

Your tasks will mainly consist of:

• Assisting regular operational staff with common tasks.
• Rounds and operational monitoring with shift work of our production facilities
• Participating in improvement work by developing/updating routines, instructions, and drawings.

The working hours for this summer job will vary, as the work is largely scheduled on a rolling shift basis.

Your Team

You will belong to the Operations department and be placed in one of our shift teams. In the Operations department, we are responsible for the operation of Göteborg Energi's production facilities for electricity, district heating, and cooling. Our common mission is to ensure optimal operation of our facilities for the production of electricity, heat, and cooling. We have a strong focus on safe delivery to customers and ensure that we meet environmental goals and conditions. Our tasks also include monitoring various safety systems such as perimeter protection, fire alarms, and access control.

Your Competence

We believe that you who apply for this position are meticulous, organized, and have a high safety awareness in your work performance. You have the ability to take initiative and drive your work forward. You enjoy working both independently and together with others and have good computer skills as the role involves working with, among other things, the Office suite.

You are studying a post-secondary education with a focus on energy, operations, mechanical engineering, or similar fields. In order to move between our various facilities, you need to have a B driver's license.
