Job Description
Do you want to help create the vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment coordinator at SiS is a meaningful role!
The starting point of our treatment work is to motivate people towards new and less destructive ways of living. You will work in a team of dedicated colleagues, and with your combined expertise, you have the opportunity to achieve good results. As a treatment coordinator, you will plan, implement, and follow up on program activities. You will conduct treatment conversations and have a special responsibility for documentation and the forms and instruments used in treatment. You will collaborate with various functions regarding mapping, establishing, and following up on treatment plans. The role of treatment coordinator also includes an additional responsibility for mentoring new employees and interns. An important shared mission for all employees is to contribute to creating a safe environment and ensuring that safety at the institution is maintained according to procedures. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.
Our vision is to be a place for change, and this permeates our approach, our engagement, and our attitude.
As a new employee at SiS, you will undergo a local introduction of three days and a cross-agency basic training to provide you with the right conditions for your new job.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformations. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, are empathetic, and can build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have a good ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues. In your role as a treatment coordinator, you will have your own responsibility for several interventions in the treatment plan as well as responsibilities on the department that require experience and the ability to coordinate that work. You need to be able to plan and structure your work, work independently, and take your own initiatives. Since the treatment work is documented and discussed with various actors, high demands are placed on good Swedish in both speech and writing.
You should also have:
- Relevant higher education, such as social work, social pedagogy, or other care/behavioral science education, or post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogue, with extensive experience in program activities.
- Experience in conducting motivational and treatment work individually and/or in groups.
