Quality Engineer at Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga

As a Quality Engineer with us, you will be a key player in the production of systems within Ground Combat - a business that is growing and investing heavily for the future.

Your Role

At Saab Dynamics, you will work closely with production in Bofors, Karlskoga. Together with quality engineers and other production and development teams, you will ensure that our products meet all requirements - technically, process-wise, and contractually.

You will work both operationally and strategically with quality issues, playing an important role in controlling, analyzing, and improving our products and processes.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Participate in kick-off meetings and daily review that production meets checklists and requirements
• Analyze, review, and document control results
• Identify and register deviations, and drive simpler deviation investigations
• Work in cross-functional teams to drive improvements
• Report trends and deviations to relevant functions
• Support production in matters related to product requirements, customer requirements, and quality

Your Profile

We see that you have previous experience in quality work or verification within the manufacturing industry. You are a team player with curiosity and a forward-thinking attitude. Structured, responsible, and persistent, you take initiative and ensure that established quality requirements are met. You are curious, proactive, and enjoy working in a changing environment.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience in quality control, production quality, or manufacturing industry
• Good computer skills - especially in Microsoft Office
• Fluent Swedish and good English in both speech and writing
• Driver's license (requirement for the position)
• A meticulous and structured working method

Previous experience in deviation management and process improvement is an advantage.

In this role, travel within Sweden and abroad may be required, so flexibility in this regard is important.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
