About the company

Our client is an established IT company that works closely with its customers across the country. More information about the company will be shared later in the process. The position starts as a consulting assignment through us at Mero Recruitment for the first six months, with good opportunities for extension with the client.

About the role

As an On-site IT Technician, you will work operationally with IT support and management of user-facing IT equipment in a larger IT environment. The role is broad and combines technical work with administrative tasks related to case management, deliveries, and documentation. You will, among other things:

• Manage and document support cases in the case management system

• Provide technical support related to hardware and user equipment

• Install, configure, and deliver IT equipment

• Be responsible for registration, documentation, and exchange of IT equipment

• Handle incoming deliveries as well as packing and handing out equipment

About you

We believe you have education and/or a few years of experience in IT, for example as an on-site IT technician or in a helpdesk role, where you have worked with both hardware and software in a case management system. You are comfortable in a user-facing IT role and used to working in a structured manner in an operational environment. You also need to have:

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

• Driving license B

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have experience with:

• ServiceNow or similar systems

• WMS systems, such as Jeeves

• Structured IT processes, such as ITIL

As a person, you have a strong technical interest and enjoy a day with varied tasks. You are structured, analytical, and have a solution-focused approach to work. You communicate clearly and professionally and can easily adapt to different users and needs. For you, good service is always a given – whether it concerns user support or collaboration in larger contexts.
