Company Description
Vattenfall is one of Europe’s largest producers and retailers of electricity and heat. Our main markets are Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and the United Kingdom. Within the Vattenfall Group, there are approximately 21,000 employees. We have electrified industries, delivered energy to homes, and transformed lives through innovation for over a hundred years.
About the Role
Do you want to use your experience, commitment, and Scrum Master superpowers for something that truly makes a difference? At Vattenfall IT, you will have the chance to contribute to our journey towards fossil-free living while helping teams, products, and people grow.
In a time where digitalization and technological development are accelerating, you as a Scrum Master play a central role. You are more than a facilitator – you act as a coach, culture bearer, and strategic enabler supporting us in realizing Vattenfall's overall strategy and creating tangible value in daily work.
As a Senior Scrum Master, you will:
- Lead, support, and develop a team of engaged software engineers
- Coach the team to become self-sufficient, high-performing, and collaborative
- Ensure effective collaboration between IT, Product Owners, UX/UI designers, and the business
- Help the team translate IT, business, and strategic goals into sustainable technical solutions
- Drive and spread modern, secure, and sustainable working methods in software development
- Contribute to robust solutions that endure over time; technically, commercially, and strategically
- Be an active part of our Scrum Master network and the agile community within Vattenfall
You serve as an important link between strategy and execution. By creating transparency, focus, and predictability in deliveries, you help teams and stakeholders prioritize correctly in a complex environment. You strengthen collaboration between IT and the business and build teams that not only deliver – but deliver the right things, in the right way, and at the right pace.
