Location: Sundbyberg (hybrid, up to 50% remote) Scope: 80–100% Assignment period: April 2026 – April 2028 (possibility of extension)

We are now looking for a Lead Integration Developer at an expert level for a long-term and critical societal assignment. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on integration development in a modern and container-based environment.

You will have a clear responsibility for the technical direction of the team, act as a sounding board in architecture and design matters, and ensure quality in solutions and code. The assignment is conducted agilely, and you will work closely with analysts, developers, testers, and application specialists related to the integration platform.

Examples of work in the assignment include migration from legacy to a new integration platform, refactoring existing flows, and developing new and modified integrations.

• Take technical leadership in the team and guide architecture and design choices

• Ensure quality, structure, and progress in the development work

• Develop and implement integration flows in Apache Camel on Kubernetes

• Work with XML/XSLT and transformation between different formats

• Document design and system solutions

• Participate in maintenance work: troubleshooting, fixing, and testing

• Contribute to projects and help introduce new technical capabilities

• Support the team's technical development and working methods

• At least 10 years of experience as a system developer

• At least 5 years of experience in application development based on microservice architecture and container technology

• At least 5 years of experience with Java

• At least 5 years of experience in integration development with:

  • XML/XSLT

  • JMS

  • Web services (SOAP/REST)

• At least 3 years of experience with Apache Camel

• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Experience in system integration within energy or critical societal operations

• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot

• Experience working with API Gateway solutions

• Clear, confident, and pedagogical in your technical leadership

• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented

• Good collaboration skills and easy to build trust

• Flexible and adaptable in a complex assignment

• The assignment requires security clearance and background check (start will occur only after a successful process)

• The consultant is expected to be on-site at least 2.5 days per week
