We are now looking for an experienced strategic requirements leader for a comprehensive and socially important consulting assignment with a client. The assignment is suitable for you who are comfortable in complex IT environments, used to working in the intersection of business and technology, and who thrive on creating structure, progress, and clarity even when conditions are changing.
Your roleIn the role of strategic requirements leader, you will be responsible for IT-related requirements specification in larger procurements and projects with high complexity. You operate at a strategic level but can also work operationally with detailed requirements analysis when needed. The role involves close collaboration with business, IT, architecture, security, and other specialist functions to ensure a cohesive, sustainable, and commercially correct requirements picture.
Your responsibilitiesAs a consultant in the assignment, you will:
Gather, analyze, structure, and anchor IT-related requirements in larger procurements and projects
Ensure a clear and unified IT perspective throughout the procurement and project process
Develop and quality assure requirement documents and contractual terms, including functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., IT and information security)
Collaborate with architects, product owners, security roles, IT specialists, business representatives, and external parties
Create structure and progress in environments with uncertain or changing conditions
Ensure that the requirements specification is sustainable in the long term and aligned with business, IT strategy, legal, and security
To be considered for the assignment, we see that you have:
At least 9 years of documented experience in IT-related requirements analysis or equivalent requirements role
At least 4 years of experience as a requirements leader in IT over the last 10 years
Experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of IT-related requirements
At least 1 year of experience in requirements work related to non-functional IT requirements (e.g., security, architecture, or operational reliability)
Experience in requirements work in large and complex IT environments (at least 50 IT systems/applications)
Documented experience producing formal documents in Swedish, such as contracts and technical specifications
Very good ability to work and document in Swedish, as this is the working language in the assignment
It is an advantage if you have experience in:
Requirements work in procurements within the public sector
Requirements leadership in very large procurements (>100 MSEK)
Requirements leadership or coordination in complex IT projects with large project organizations
Work with business-related procurements or IT projects within community or transport-related activities
Translating technically complex information into understandable documentation for non-technical recipients
The assignment is located in Stockholm. Work will primarily take place on-site with the client, with the possibility of some remote work as agreed and based on the needs of the assignment.
Timeline and scopeStart: 2026-03-02
End: 2026-12-18
Scope: 40 hours per week
Extension: Possibility of extension with 1 + 1 year on unchanged terms
