Professional Galaxy is looking for a Backend Developer on behalf of our client.

Requirements Profile Client's description: The E-health Agency is looking for 4 - 6 consultants (level 3), who will primarily work as backend developers.

Assignment Description: The client needs to strengthen and ensure delivery capacity, shorter lead times, and higher quality in our digital services, which is why we intend to procure fullstack and backend developers for a generic development team that can work with a mix of smaller and larger development initiatives in several areas.

The work may include, but is not limited to: • Design, development, improvement, and integration of the agency's components • Integration and connection to external components, for example to Ena - Sweden's digital infrastructure

The assignment may change, e.g., the consultant may be involved in other projects and assignments.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS The offered consultant must have: • at least five (5) years of experience working as a developer with the following technologies included: o Java o JPA/Hibernate At least three (3) years of work experience must have been acquired at some point during the last five-year period. • at least three (3) years of experience working as a developer with the following technologies included: o Jakarta EE Work experience must have been acquired at some point during the last five-year period. • at least three (3) years of experience working as a system developer with container-based technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. At least one (1) year of work experience must have been acquired at some point during the last five-year period. • The offered consultant must have at least one (1) year of experience working in teams that work according to agile methods. • The offered consultant must have relevant university or college education or otherwise acquired knowledge. • very good ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish

PREFERABLE The consultant should have: • at least two (2) years of experience designing and implementing scalable REST APIs. Work experience must have been acquired at some point during the last five-year period. • at least one (1) year of experience building microservices in Quarkus. Work experience must have been acquired at some point during the last three-year period. • at least one (1) year of experience in security-related development and working with authentication and API security (OAuth2, SAML). • at least one (1) year of experience in log standardization (e.g., JSON logs, correlation ID, structured logging). • at least one (1) year of practical experience working with performance and response time testing and experience establishing a common platform for performance and response time testing.

Other Scope: 100% Contract length: Start 2026-02-23 to 2027-02-22 with a possible extension of 12 months. Work location: Stockholm or Kalmar. It is possible to perform parts of the assignment remotely, but this must be done in dialogue with the client, and they will decide if/when remote work is appropriate. Interviews will take place remotely via a virtual meeting room, and the consultant must be available for an interview on February 12-13.
