Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a frontend software developer for their IO team within the robotics industry. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of a desktop application for configuring industrial networks for Ethernet and Safety in their robot control systems. The role involves working closely with both backend development, system design, and their testing environments to ensure high quality throughout the chain.

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in C#/.NET/WPF and modern desktop development.
• Ability to work on-site in Västerås at least 4 days a week.
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Experience in C/C++ development.

Meritorious / Particularly Valuable

Experience in automated testing, e.g.:

• Building and maintaining test frameworks for desktop applications
• Integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Writing UI tests, integration tests, or system tests in C#/.NET.
• Knowledge of network configuration, industrial protocols, or safety systems.
• Experience in developing for real-time systems or larger distributed software platforms.
