About the position

In the role of Junior DevOps/System Technician, you will contribute to ensuring that Svenska kraftnät's development platforms and tools function and are further developed. You will work together with the team on both planned and operational tasks related to the operation, management, and improvement of IT environments that support system development.

The position will include:

• Managing incidents, problems, and troubleshooting in development platforms and associated environments
• Driving and implementing upgrades and system improvements of development tools and server platforms, such as Azure DevOps and GitLab
• Supporting new and existing projects and management in the implementation of DevOps-based working methods
• Configuring workspaces in server platforms and other development tools
• Installing, configuring, and deploying new environments and being responsible for lifecycle management of existing environments
• Participating in the work with DevSecOps, assisting in risk and vulnerability analyses, and monitoring the information security area

You will have the opportunity to develop within DevOps, agile working methods, and development platforms and gradually take on greater technical responsibility. The role provides a good understanding of how tools and platforms are used in system development and the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues who have worked in the industry for a long time.

As a Junior DevOps/System Technician, you will belong to Svenska kraftnät's competence center for support to IT system development, which consists of about 20 employees. The unit works closely with development teams, projects, and management and is responsible for tools, methods, and platforms for system development.

About you

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and has good communication and collaboration skills. To thrive in the role, we also see that you take responsibility for your tasks and have an easy time absorbing new knowledge to apply it in practice. These qualities are important as the role involves working according to common processes and close collaboration with colleagues and development teams.

You should also adhere to the state value base. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have at least a 2-year post-secondary or academic education in IT with a focus on DevOps. You have also obtained your degree or can demonstrate that your education will be completed no later than January 2026, or that you graduated within the last 2 years.

You also have:

• Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or other similar tools, such as GitLab, GitHub, Jira, and/or Atlassian products
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience in installation, configuration, and administration of software in Linux or Windows environments
• Experience working in IT support/service desk
• Experience working as a DevOps Engineer, or equivalent experience that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent
