We are looking for a highly experienced senior project manager for a comprehensive and critical program within the energy sector. The assignment is in the implementation phase and involves both further development and full-scale implementation of central solutions with a significant impact on societal functions and the market.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for leading and driving ongoing projects and ensuring that deliveries are made with high quality, within given time and cost frames. The assignment is conducted in a complex environment with many stakeholders, both nationally and Nordic, and places high demands on structure, leadership, and communication.

As a senior project manager, you are responsible for the overall execution of the project, from planning to delivery and follow-up. The work involves leading and coordinating projects across multiple organizational boundaries and ensuring that both operational and technical prerequisites are in place.

You will work closely with the steering group and clients, report on project progress, and manage risks according to established routines. The assignment also includes ensuring the introduction and reception of IT development deliveries, contributing to change management, and creating conditions for new operational working methods.

There may also be a need to lead additional development or implementation projects within the same area of operations.

You are expected to deliver stable and predictable project management with clear follow-up on goals, time, and finances. The role entails responsibility for ensuring that the project's results are well anchored internally, ready for operational use, and adapted to applicable regulations and market conditions.

We are looking for someone with extensive and solid experience in leading complex projects in environments with high demands on quality, safety, and collaboration.

We see that you have:

• At least 10 years of experience in project management in larger and complex organizations

• A degree in technology, IT, economics, or equivalent

• Experience from critical infrastructure, such as energy, water, telecommunications, or transport

• Familiarity with working in national and international project environments

• Experience with established project management models such as PPS, PROPS, PEJL, or equivalent

• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

• Experience from government agencies or public operations

• Participation in Nordic projects or programs

• Experience with electricity market processes and market design

• Certification in agile methodology or professional project management

To succeed in this assignment, you are confident in your leadership and have an easy time creating structure in complex contexts. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have a strong delivery focus. At the same time, you are communicative and have the ability to build trust with various stakeholders.
