Job Description

The department you will work in is responsible for providing the customer with the IT systems needed for the business. The department develops, procures, and manages the operation and maintenance of existing systems.

For a period, the department has a need to bring in a person to strengthen the Supplier Manager team.

An IT Supplier Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and developing relationships with the customer's IT suppliers. The position ensures that contracts are adhered to, that deliveries meet the business's requirements, and that procurements and purchases support the business's needs.

The Supplier Manager has two main areas of work; Collaboration with the customer's IT suppliers and ensuring that IT requirements are included in procurements and purchases. In addition, they are also responsible for the management and development of supplier governance for the customer's IT suppliers.

The Supplier Manager is responsible for:

• Supporting the IT department regarding the interpretation and use of IT contracts.
• Following up on the collaboration between the customer and suppliers
• Managing escalations from the operational business
• Following up on penalties and handling penalty discussions
• Negotiating and resolving any disputes with IT suppliers
• Negotiating and signing any amendments to existing contracts
• Ensuring that requirement setters are involved in procurements and that requirement specifications, regulations, and IT requirements are adhered to.
• Representing IT in procurements and negotiations.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 3 years of documented experience working as a Supplier Manager, Vendor Manager, or equivalent role within IT operations
• At least 2 documented assignments related to procurement and contract-related contexts for IT, of which 1 must have been a procurement involving Cloud, SaaS, and Infrastructure-related services
• At least 1 documented assignment related to procurement and contract-related contexts for OT
• Experience working with IT sourcing strategies
