Test Specialist with a Focus on Security

About the Position

In the role of test specialist with us, you will work in an agile team focused on security and authentication. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and documenting test cases and test strategies for API security using tools like ReadyAPI and Groovy. Together with the developers in the team, you will work on identifying, reproducing, and verifying security-related bugs. You will also work with penetration-like controls at the API level and analysis of logs, tokens, headers, and traffic flows.

You will work closely with your colleagues, driving development together to create our future digital health data solutions that matter to society as a whole. The team strives to be at the forefront of technology, and you will take on significant personal responsibility while contributing to the overall effort.

You belong to the department for digital strategy and platform. We work on developing and maintaining the agency's shared digital platforms and components.

About You

You are a person who is passionate about technology and moves effortlessly between tools and environments. You are eager to learn what you do not know and come with ideas for new technical solutions and methods. You have good problem-solving skills and can analyze complex processes. As a person, you thrive when collaborating with others, take significant personal responsibility for driving your work forward, and are flexible.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a degree in IT/software/programming or equivalent work experience
• several years of current experience in testing, test automation, and testing REST APIs
• experience with ReadyAPI or similar tools
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous for the position if you have:

• experience in designing test cases and continuous testing of pipelines/CI/CD
• experience in system development
• experience working with authentication such as API keys, token-based authentication, or OAuth2.

The employment is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or as agreed. The place of employment is Kalmar or Stockholm. The work may involve business trips, mainly between Kalmar and Stockholm.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Therefore, we may need to conduct a security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For some tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
