We are now looking for a development engineer to a specialist team that works with the design and long-term management of safety-critical components within the defense industry in Karlskoga.

About the Assignment

The assignment includes work on the development and management of both new and existing products. You will follow the products through their entire lifecycle – from idea and design to finished product in operation. An important part of the role is also to support production through troubleshooting, change management, and technical management, to ensure continued manufacturability and delivery capability.

The work takes place in both lab and field environments and involves handling complex technical issues with high demands on quality, safety, and reliability. The assignment offers great variety, clear responsibility, and good opportunities to plan and structure your work independently. You will be a central part of an experienced team where your contribution is crucial for both today's deliveries and future development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a master's degree or bachelor's degree in engineering, such as mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or equivalent. If you have another technical background combined with a strong interest in development and innovation, that is also of interest.

Experience in design work and/or systems engineering is an advantage but not a requirement. You are a driven and solution-oriented person who enjoys collaboration and is willing to take responsibility. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and work systematically with great accuracy and attention to detail. Curiosity and the desire to develop are qualities we value highly.
