The Foundation Education North Calotte, Education North organizes vocational adult education for the labor markets in Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Education North's mission is to make our approximately 300 students employable and attractive in the Nordic as well as the international labor market. We operate in accordance with ISO 9001-2015. Education North conducts vocational training in refrigeration technology in Övertorneå. We have adult students from Finland, Norway, and Sweden as well as Swedish high school students. We also work with corporate training and short courses for companies and to some extent private individuals.

Responsibilities

Conduct teaching and lessons, plan, develop, structure, organize, and follow up on education in the field.

Education and Work Experience

· Pedagogical education or pedagogical experience

· Relevant electrical or refrigeration education

· Documented, broad, and current knowledge in refrigeration technology and electricity

Language

Swedish in speech and writing. Finnish in speech and writing is an advantage. You work fluently with commonly used office support programs and administrative systems.

Personal Qualities

· Good pedagogical ability

· Ability to convey engagement and interest in the field.

· Innovative, independent, and willing to renew and develop.

· Good communication and collaboration skills.

· Be a representative for Education North.

· Ability to apply new knowledge and experiences in practice.
