JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Together in the team at Sommarsol, we provide good care, security, and joy to our residents. Sommarsol is a special accommodation with 60 places, located in Vejbystrand.

As a nursing assistant with us, no two days are the same! With a person-centered approach, we adapt our efforts according to the residents' daily condition and utilize their abilities. The work includes qualified care and nursing efforts based on the residents' needs. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to a meaningful life through, for example, social meetings, activities, and outdoor experiences.

We actively work with individual implementation plans as a basis for planning the work, and each employee takes great responsibility for the operation and development of the business. As a nursing assistant, you work closely with the residents and have a key role in the team together with colleagues, unit manager, nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.

We collaborate with other special accommodations within Ängelholm municipality, and if necessary, you will have shifts at these accommodations as well.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, preferably with specialized training in geriatrics, palliative care, or cognitive impairment. Previous work experience that has involved responsibility for contact person duties, social documentation, and delegated healthcare tasks is seen as valuable.

You are confident and enjoy using digital technology, as we increasingly use digital tools to facilitate and improve operations. Communication is an important part of the job, and you can communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing. If you have knowledge of any other language, we see it as a positive.

You are a strong team player who collaborates, takes responsibility, and sees the whole picture. We are constantly working to develop the business, and if you have experience in improvement or development work, we see it as an asset. Before offering employment, we will request an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record. Before employment, you will also need to provide your professional certificate.
