Description
We are now looking for a substitute for the position of Assistant Project Manager who wants to help develop and realize the Göteborg Festival.
The role involves being able to independently drive, lead, and be responsible for delegated tasks in the project as it progresses, as well as contribute to and participate in project design, content, collaborations, presentations, networking, etc.
You will also act as administrative support and be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the Göteborg Festival.
Responsibilities
Examples of tasks include:
- Administration of program points
- Administer, support, and carry out procurements
- Recruit temporary staff for implementation
- Planning and administration regarding implementation (e.g., orders, purchases, transport, artist service, event materials, accreditations)
- Coordination of implementation (e.g., logistics, planning, staff schedules)
- Follow-up and statistics
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant work experience and post-secondary education in project management, administration, or equivalent. You have experience working with events and the ability and interest to collaborate with others. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of the Office suite and strong administrative skills. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. A driver's license (B) is required for the position.
It is an advantage if you have experience in conducting events in urban spaces and knowledge/experience of the organization Göteborgs Stad. Additionally, experience in procurement is a plus.

Conditions
The position is a full-time substitute starting in May 2026 until September 30, 2027. There is an opportunity for a fixed-term employment before the substitute position starting as early as March. The position involves some evening work as well as evening and weekend work during implementation.
