We are currently seeking two Site Managers for our Construction Division in Skåne at Svevia. Svevia in Skåne is looking for two site managers with proposed placements in Malmö or Helsingborg. The roles are fundamentally similar, but one focuses on district heating while the other focuses on bridge maintenance. We see an expanding market in the region and are building an organization for the future. Our projects span a broader range in terms of project type and variation in time and scope.

As a site manager, you will be responsible for:

·       Leading and coordinating work on-site to ensure that the contract proceeds according to plan.

·       Creating and following up on schedules.

·       Conducting qualitative work preparations together with your team.

·       Monitoring the work carried out by our subcontractors.

·       Reviewing invoices from suppliers.

·       Keeping a detailed diary.

·       Assisting the site manager in preparing cost estimates for both contract work and additional work.

Our district heating group: In the role focused on district heating, you will be part of a team of 7 people with extensive knowledge in construction related to district heating. The group works as a base within a framework agreement with smaller new construction projects and repairs of existing district heating systems. In addition, we work on larger district heating projects that span several months. Everyone in the team is based at our office in Malmö.

Our bridge maintenance group: In the role focused on bridge maintenance, you will be part of a team of 8 people who focus on concrete and primarily bridge maintenance/repairs, but other concrete projects also occur. We have an office in Helsingborg as a base, but the projects are also widely spread across Skåne. The projects in this group are usually days/weeks, but sometimes we take on larger projects that extend over a few months.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with production experience in construction. You have a few years of experience in a similar role or feel ready to step up from a skilled worker to a leadership role.

As a person, you are proactive, solve problems, and tackle the challenges and changes that arise in daily work. You gain energy from taking responsibility and are happy to contribute ideas and have the ability to create profitable business. You are motivated and grow by working with problem-solving and planning, and you do this with order and structure.

We consider it a given that you communicate well in writing and speech in Swedish, have computer skills, and possess a B driver's license.

For the different positions, experience in construction related to district heating and bridge maintenance is advantageous. For the latter, it is also beneficial if you have concrete class I or II.

Some travel may be required for the position.
