Construction Project Manager with a focus on damages and maintenance

We are now looking for a project manager for our construction department with a focus on insurance damages, claims, and maintenance. You will work both operationally and strategically. One day you handle urgent damages and make technical assessments. The next day you drive planned maintenance projects and develop working methods together with colleagues. You have a clear mandate, short decision-making paths, and great opportunity to influence how the work is planned and executed.

Your responsibilities will include

• Being responsible for and working with insurance damages and claims
• Making technical assessments of damages and necessary actions
• Maintaining ongoing contact with insurance companies and claims adjusters
• Being responsible for quality, time, and cost in your projects
• Handling urgent situations where quick and well-founded decisions are required
• Driving projects within maintenance and renovation in the property portfolio

Your profile and our requirements

We are looking for someone with a professional certificate and documented experience in the construction industry, as well as being accustomed to working in project form with responsibility for execution. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and documented experience in cost calculations and cost follow-up. A valid B driver's license is required for the position.

As a person, you are confident in your skills, used to making decisions, and can easily prioritize when the pace is high. You thrive in a daily environment with many parallel projects and numerous points of contact. Creating structure, planning, and clarity for all involved parties drives you. You enjoy collaborating with others and building good relationships both internally and externally. You have good administrative skills.

Meritorious

• Experience in handling insurance damages within the construction and property industry
• Relevant academic education or other relevant further education
• Experience in construction work environment coordination
• Experience in scheduling and coordinating multiple parallel projects
• Experience in procurement
• Good knowledge of English
