Child and Adolescent Clinic 2 is an outpatient clinic that is part of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) Malmö-Trelleborg. In the area, there are three outpatient clinics as well as various specialist teams. Those of us who work here include social workers, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, family therapists, medical secretaries, and unit managers. Together, we are about 120 employees in the area.

At the clinic, we offer assessment, investigation, and treatment of children and their families. Employees work from a family perspective where various forms of psychotherapeutic approaches and competencies are represented. The clinic's psychologists work with the support of care programs and routines combined with professional autonomy and freedom. It is important for us that the work situation is safe but also developing and stimulating so that we maintain the joy in our mission within child and adolescent psychiatry. Furthermore, the clinic has access to a regional emergency department, acute ward, and care departments.

Bup in Skåne is now an accredited university healthcare unit, which means that we have a documented close collaboration with the medical faculty at Lund University regarding both research and education. Evidence-based practice permeates the work in our operations, and we value interest and experience from research as well as education when filling our positions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a specialist nurse for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic 2 in Malmö. In the role of nurse with us, you will work alongside four nursing colleagues, and your primary task is to be responsible for medication follow-up and dose titration for children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disabilities. The assignment also includes follow-up of other types of medications.

You will also work with telephone advice, parent education in groups, and be a supervisor for nursing students. The work is characterized by interdisciplinary collaboration in close cooperation with the clinic's other professional groups. In addition to contact with children and parents, the work also involves collaboration with primarily schools and social services as well as our other healthcare partners. In addition to these tasks, you will play an important role in the ongoing digital development of the work and the transition with children and youth within the framework of the nursing assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed specialist nurse in psychiatry or child and adolescents with the authority to operate within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are also a requirement. We would like you to have experience working with children and youth. Step 1 training is an asset. Experience working in Pasis and Melior is also desirable.

To thrive in the role, it is important that you can easily adapt to changing circumstances and that you have the ability to handle situations when the pace is sometimes high. You are flexible, creative, innovative, and interested in working with complex psychiatric conditions. Since the work requires you to be able to make your own decisions and organize much of your work yourself within fixed frameworks, we also see that you have a good ability to prioritize between your tasks. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of working with digital healthcare interventions previously. Additionally, it is important that you enjoy and function well working in a team with colleagues from both your own and other professions. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
