We strive to offer you, as a specialist in general medicine, a patient list of 1100 on a full-time position. The Vilan Healthcare Center has approximately 6,900 registered patients. Here, a close-knit team works with a focus on accessibility based on patient needs. Teamwork is a guiding principle, and we see ourselves as important members. We have a physician's office, district nurse's office with, for example, diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension/heart failure, and memory and elderly care clinics. We also have a child health center (BVC).

In our laboratory, there are nursing assistants who handle both internal and external sampling. Additionally, we offer advice and support to nursing homes and municipal home healthcare. We also have access to well-developed rehabilitation services with physiotherapy, dietitian, social worker, and occupational therapist. In total, we are about 30 employees at the healthcare center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the healthcare center, both specialists, residents, and sometimes interns work today. We offer varied tasks with both patient work and the opportunity for supervision. If interested, we can also offer you the chance to work with our elderly patients, both in home healthcare and in residential care. Here you will have a varied and meaningful role where you make a difference!

As a specialist physician in general medicine, you will have a diverse job where you meet patients of all ages, from children to the elderly. You will work with both scheduled and urgent visits and also have the opportunity to offer digital meetings when medically appropriate. In addition to patient meetings, you play an important role in creating a safe and developing educational environment for future specialists. Your work will primarily be at the healthcare center, but when you feel ready, it may also involve home visits to provide care where it is most needed. Therefore, we see it as an advantage if you have a driver's license.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed physician with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare and has specialist competence in general medicine. You have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. A valid B driver's license is desirable. We utilize IT support as much as possible to facilitate care and free up time for personal meetings, so it is an advantage if you have good experience working in various operational systems.
