We are looking for a communicative and meticulous accounting economist to Alingsås. You will be an important part of the client's finance department and be responsible for accounting, reporting, and monthly closings. The role suits you who enjoys a broad accounting responsibility and wants to contribute to improved processes as well as stable and accurate financial management.

This is a consulting assignment starting immediately, so you need to be available right away.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with:

• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations

• Accounts receivable and accounts payable

• Invoicing and payments

• Monthly and annual closings and reporting

• Budget follow-up and support to the business

• Manage incoming emails and financial administration

You will collaborate closely with colleagues in finance as well as with external suppliers and business managers.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting and ongoing bookkeeping

• Experience with monthly and annual closings

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Strong experience with Excel

• Familiar with working in business systems and digital tools; experience with Visma or similar is an advantage

• Structured, solution-oriented, and meticulous
