Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a temporary assistance officer for the department of assistance and fees.

You will be part of a well-functioning team.

As an assistance officer, you will work with authority exercise. This means investigating needs, making decisions, and following up on granted services. Daily work includes documentation, individual meetings, and collaboration with other professionals, relatives, and external actors.

The position requires you to manage several individual cases of varying complexity simultaneously. Your tasks include care planning in hospitals and short-term accommodations, home visits, making decisions, writing investigations and documentation, as well as conducting follow-ups both in regular housing and special accommodations.

The assistance unit continuously works to develop the operations, and the person we are looking for should be involved and contribute to development and feel engaged in the change work.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education that includes 30 HP in social law. We would like you to attach your degree certificate from the social work program with your application.

Previous experience in authority exercise is an advantage. You should also be updated on current regulations and values within the area of operations.

You have a driver's license for a manually shifted car, as part of the work time is spent at clients' homes or in hospitals. The work involves extensive documentation, which requires good computer skills and the ability to use and take advantage of various digital tools. It is advantageous if you have worked in Lifecare and have knowledge of the National Board of Health and Welfare's investigation model IBIC.

As a person, you show interest and understanding for the clients you meet and work for good communication and collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals working around the client. Therefore, you have a good ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

The work requires you to be structured and capable of completing your tasks. In your working method, you are solution-focused with the ability to sort and prioritize your tasks both in the short and long term.

In the role of assistance officer, you need to have an independent working style with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work effectively. Furthermore, you are flexible and decisive, adapting to changing circumstances and driving processes in a goal-oriented manner.

Since the work involves contacts with many partners, you need to have very good collaboration skills. A friendly and pedagogical way of conveying information for the assistance officer process and thus the role of the assistance officer is fundamental. You need to have a service-oriented approach, but still have no problem making and communicating unfavorable decisions.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
