Production Manager for Food Industry

About the Role

As a Production Manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading, driving, and developing assigned production departments, both operationally and strategically. The role includes full personnel responsibility for approximately 20–25 operators and budget responsibility within your area of responsibility.

You will ensure a safe, stable, and efficient operation of the facility, where the work environment and employee safety always have the highest priority. The role is central to achieving the company's overall goals regarding safety, quality, productivity, and profitability. The position is daytime-based, with some hybrid work applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production teams

• Drive and implement technical projects and smaller investments

• Monitor production and initiate improvement measures

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety requirements

• Implement technical and organizational improvements

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within production

• Experience from the food industry or closely related process industry

• Good technical understanding and experience in technical environments

• Documented ability to drive processes and achieve set goals

• Experience in systematic improvement work

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

A valid driver's license and access to a car are required for travel to and from the workplace.
