We are looking for a Supervisor!

About the role

As a Supervisor, you play a key role in daily production. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on the work in production together with our team leaders and production manager. Your task is to ensure that production delivers according to plan – with the right quality, on time, and with high efficiency.

You work closely with both employees and other departments and are an important cultural bearer who contributes to good communication and a safe working environment.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and follow up on daily work together with team leaders and the production manager.
  • Ensure that production, quality, and hygiene requirements are met.
  • Minimize waste, rejections, and downtime through proactive improvement work.
  • Optimize staffing and manage short-term absences, illness, and vacation planning.
  • Drive improvements in work methods, working hours, and efficiency.
  • Ensure good order of equipment and facilities.
  • Collaborate with other departments and report deviations and unplanned stoppages.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience in food production or other process or manufacturing industries.
  • Has documented experience in leading and motivating staff.
  • Is a clear and open communicator with the ability to create good relationships.
  • Works in a structured manner, is flexible, and leads by example.
  • Has a strong commitment and a natural ability to help people grow.

Qualifications

  • Education or solid experience from a similar role.
  • Experience from the food industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of hygiene requirements, traceability, and logistics flows.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of technical equipment and its impact on production is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of English in speech and writing.
